So how do you use the two products in combination?

We are practical people and we realise that while we want to look after our skin and fight the signs of ageing... we really do not have a lot of time to devote to doing so.

So... our anti-Ageing System is simple but effective to use.

Choose how many times per week you will use the system. Everyone over the age of 28 will benefit from using Moon Haven's Anti-Ageing system, at least one night per week.
As we grow older and our skin begins to 'mature' (read dry out and wrinkle!) we can increase the frequency to the point when we are using the system nightly. For example I - that's me, Leonie, the anti-ageing System's formulator - am nearly 49 and I am applying both components of the system nightly as my skin is dry and sun damaged.

We recommend that you use Moon Haven's Anti-Ageing System at night just before you go to sleep. This way the wonderful anti-ageing compounds can work on the deepest layers of your skin while you sleep.
Cleanse and dry your face and décolletage. It is important that you apply the anti-ageing system components to a gently cleansed and a softly dried face. We really don't want left over make up and daily grime to block pores and inhibit the action of these precious serums.
Of course we would recommend that you use one of Moon Haven's herbal cleansers - Herbal Cleansing Milk with Rose Geranium for mature and dry skin or Herbal Cleansing Gel with Bergamot for Normal to Oily skin.
Apply the BioNutrient Facial Gel. This is easy, just apply several drops of the gel (from the vial with the translucent white liquid) to the face and décolletage area - including the skin around the eye area...it helps to plump and protect the delicate eye tissues.
Apply the gel nice and thinly so that it quickly dries.
Your skin should feel slightly firmer, maybe even a little hydrated - this is the gel at work plumping and firming the skin.
Apply the Age Defying Serum. Now it's time to apply a little of the Age Defying Serum (from the vial filled with the golden transparent liquid). You'll find you will need half as much Serum as you did gel as a little goes a long, long way. You should cover the same area as where you apply the gel.
Allow the serum to soak into the skin... it may be shiny at first but this should resolve as it drives the lipids and other nutrients into the deepest layers of your skin.

That's it! All you have to do is repeat this process as often as you feel your skin needs it and use your normal cleansers and moisturisers during the day. Moon Haven has two wonderful moisturisers for day use and a deeply enriching night cream that should be used on your non Anti-ageing System nights. The combination of each of these products with the Anti-Ageing system creats a wonderful skin nurturing synergy.. to make you skin look and feel younger , more hydrated and resilleint ot the signs of ageing.

What to look out for.

Over the coming days you should find that your skin starts to become more hydrated and the fine lines plump out. You may find that your skin takes on a healthy glow as the cells in the deepest layers of your skin become more active and receive more of the nutrients and lipids they need to function.

Of course if you find that your skin is starting to break out, then we recommend that you reduce the number of nights per week that you use the system. The ingredients in the two products are extremely rich and nurturing and may be too enriching for very regular use on people with already well hydrated and oily skin. These people would benefit from using the Anti-Ageing system as a one night a week treatment.

Like any product you place on the skin, some people may be sensitive to one or more of the ingredients - so it is advisable to reduce the frequency or discontinue use if you find that the skin becomes irritated or uncomfortable in any way.

When I was formulating Moon Haven's NEW Anti-ageing product line I was faced with a dilemma.

It is one I battle with, whenever I formulate a new product

You see the botanical world is divided... t<strong>he wonderful extracts and compounds found in nature that deliver such amazing results to our skin, and bodies and minds ... are often either water soluble or oil soluble</strong>

...and we all know that water and oil don't mix.

In fact <strong>we can mix the two</strong> if we use an emusifying compound. But the trouble with making an emulsion ( these are all your common creams and lotions you use on your body every day) is that the water to oil ratio is heavily biased towards the water side.

<strong>The fact is that most lotions and creams contain 90% to 95% water based components and only 5-10% oil based ingredients! </strong>

So what is a girl to do... the oil soluble extracts and ingredients are so valuable in the fight against aging that I didn't want to compromise...
