Born of necessity
Dermatitis, debilitating muscle pain and skin sensitivities all drove moon haven's founder, Leonie Gully, to look to the natural world for natural, effective solutions. 

Inspired by nature
Inspired by nature's gifts from the botanical world, Leonie and her team formulated creams to calm her skin, salves to soothe aching muscles and rich, moisturising soaps that did not bring her out in a rash.

Word of these innovative creations spread and demand grew.

...and so from necessity and passion, moon haven was born.

Harnessing the incredible properties of organic herbs and pure botanical oils, we lovingly infuse a drop of our creative passion into each individually crafted creation before we send it out into the world.

 Moon Haven exists for a reason.  Leonie and Eric Gully created Moon Haven when Leonie was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and its accompanying debilitating chemical sensitivities. Spurred on by necessity, Leonie set about formulating aromatherapy and herbal products which allowed her to experience all the skin soothing and life encouraging properties that the natural world could offer her. Once discovered, these amazing products cried out to be shared...Moon Haven was born. see Leonie's Story

 The Moon Haven Concept: Based on  the concept of wonderment and acceptance Moon Haven has blossomed into a family business nestled into our country cottage in the quaint village of Cowaramup -  in the heart of the Margaret River Wine region of Western Australia.

When visiting the Moon Haven  cottage,  everyone is welcomed and encouraged to explore and discover the delights within.  Visitors are encouraged to play - to smell an amazing array of aromatherapy soaps and oils, slather on delightful body butters,  ask for advice on skin care and our herbal salves, but even more so they are invited to glimpse a little of the child within.  From our amazing range of kaliedascopes and our buttefly displays to our delightful fairy cloud pond. Each experience makes for a magical visit!

 When you can't visit in person: Of course we realise that not everyone is fortunate enough to be able experience the wonders of the Moon Haven Cottage personally,so if you are unable to visit us why not wander our enchanted pages and see what Moon Haven can do to enrich your life and those of family and friends.

We formulate, manufacture and package every soap, lotion and potion in our range in our Cowaramup premises.
