Moon Haven Happenings

October is a busy month at Moon Haven.  We start getting ready for the BIG 'C' - yes Christmas is fast approaching and Eric and Ben are in the midst of making sure we have enough of our soap on hand for the coming season. It is also the month before Moon Haven goes to Hong Kong for Cosmoprof Asia 2006  - not to mention Radinka's pregnancy, school holidays and the coming Margaret River Wine Festival...so read on to catch up on all the news...

With October here and the warmer weather, our fruit trees are in full bloom.  This month's beautiful feature image is from one of Moon Haven's bountiful fruit trees that is bursting at the seams with blossom. Spring is a time tto be reminded that the cycles of life continue  - no matter what is happening in our personal lives or the greater world.

Talking about cycles of life, Radinka our retail manager extraordinaire is progresing well with her pregnancy. At 19 to 20 weeks she has just about accepted that a babe is arriving in a few short months.  Darling Dinks has certainly had her share of trials this month, especially as she has just been diagnosed as having coeliac disease .  Coeliac is an autoimmune disease where there is an  inability to digest gluten- a protein found in wheat.  Look out for next months article on the condition, which affects 1 in every 100 people.

Don't forget to come on down south for next month's Margaret River Wine Festival. Cowaramup - Moon Haven's home village- will play host to the feature event "The Fusion" with headline act James Reyne on Saturday November 18.  With over 50 different wineries being featured as well as local food and fun...not to mention the chance to visit Moon Haven...it is a weekend not to be missed.

 At Moon Haven we continue to be pleasantly surprised by the demand for our products in neighbouring Asia. Leonie and Chris are off to Hong Kong next month to exhibit Moon Haven's "Practical Aromatherapy" range at Cosmoprof Asia in Hong Kong (November 15-17).  Leonie is also quite excited as the Natural Health fair is being held at the same time and she will be able to catch upon all the latest science and trends in this ever evolving field. So watch this space for new a spate fo new products in the coming months.
