Soaping days are so much fun at Moon Haven. We have worked hard at getting our systems down pat to the point where most days we are able to produce a wide variety and volume of beautifully crafted, natural soaps.
The Routine:
Eric, Chris and Leonie arrive at the "Soap Shed" early in the morning...
People ask us how to best look after their Moon Haven soaps., so here are a few guidelines to help get the most out of each bar.
Our soap is fully cured at the time of labelling and does not need to be left to cure further– although there are many Moon Haven soaps out there happily scenting drawers and wardrobes, even cars!
We recommend that Moon Haven soap is used within 12 months of purchase to ensure a refreshing aromatherapy bathing experience.
Moon Haven Soaps do not contain any fillers so you will need less soap to cleanse yourself each bath time. So remember that little soap goes a long way.
Do allow your soap to dry between uses. This will allow the soap to last a long time and not be used up quickly. We highly recommend you use a soap saver to allow your natural soap to dry between uses.
Each soap weighs a minimum of 110 grams at packing (120 g for our new Designer Series soap)—most weigh more. Enjoy…

We had chosen Calendula as one of the major healing herbs in our ointment so we did a Pub Med search. A 2005 clinical study found that the herb Calendula was more effective in treating leg ulcers than the currently accepted treatment methods.
A new study has shown evidence that what you smell as you sleep influences your dreams as well as the quality of your sleep.
Boris Stuck of University Hospital Mannheim, Germany, exposed 15 sleeping volunteers to chemicals that mimicked the smell of either rotten eggs or roses. Apparently...
