From the Soap Shed #3
by Eric- Soapmaker Extraordinaire
I give you my
apologies for my absence from the newsletter lately. Lots of things have been happening with me,
and I haven’t had time to fill you in with our activities in the “shed”.
Bye Bye Ben - Most recently, our
son Ben, my able assistant, has left us to rejoin his fiancée, who is studying
at university. This leaves a bit of a
gap, currently being filled temporarily by his brother Chris, who in addition
to his other duties has recently taken on the responsibility of managing our
domestic and international sales. He is
a busy lad indeed!

From the Soap Shed-
Innovative new Salt Bar - Amazing R&D results!
I
make my apologies to everyone. I am afraid that between running off to
the USA
in November to visit family and getting ready for Christmas back here at home,
I didn’t give myself enough time to make the last Newsletter. (Note, New
Years Resolution No. 1… Write my newsletter articles early!)
So
we wish everyone a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year and on with the story…
Innovation @ Moon Haven: One
of the fun things we do when making soap, is coming up with new ideas, new
scents and new products.

From the Soap Shed
Greetings to all…
As a regular
feature of your newsletter, you can expect to find out what we have been up to
up at the Moon Haven Soap Shed. For
those of you who have not had a chance to talk to Leonie or Eric (Soapyfox)
about soap making, a history of Moon Haven soap making might be of
interest.
We at Moon Haven
first began producing our marvellous soaps, as is quite common for handcrafted
soaps, in our home kitchen.
