Chickweed & Plantain Salve

Combat the Itches. A very simple herbal salve used by our clients to assist with easing the itching and discomfort of heavy duty skin problems like eczema, psoriasis & dermatitis. Chickweed is noted for its incredible skin soothing, anti itching properties while plantain has been used to help with the discomfort associated with these skin conditions.

Plantain - harvested from the wild

Plantain is a wonderful healing herb noted for its ability to cool and soothe inflamed skin.  We wildcraft this amazing herb from the swamp lands near the Moon Haven Cottage.  It is wonderful to walk amongst the newly sprouting plants and take a little from each...always thanking the plant for its contribution.  We then take the freshly harvested leaves back to Moon Haven where we place the leaves in our dehydrator.  The next day we crush the dried leaves and use this in our sunflower oil infusion.   2 weeks later the oil is ready to be included in our wonderful Chickweed and Plantain Salve.

(Hint: use the popstick supplied with the salve like a butter knife and scrape out the salve rather than chunking it out- this softens the salve and makes it much easier to apply)

Blessings to Prof. Turner and Fremantle Hospital! It’s a good thing that the Lu-177 Clement Study has been as beneficial to me as it has been, and had no lasting side effects. I seem to be fully recovered and have a very sustainable energy supply. That is...
